MEET the directors
Stephanie Whitney - Owner/Director
Miss Stephanie fell in love with dance at age 4 when she took her first ballet class. From that point on, dance continued to be a huge part of her life. She competed as a pre-teen and teenager on a dance team as well as becoming an assistant dance instructor. Stephanie followed her passion and majored in dance at Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBAU), where she also danced in the PBAU Dance Ensemble. At PBAU Stephanie was fortunate enough to study under the modern great, Demetrius Klein, and ABT former soloist, Eileen Hebron. Stephanie continued to study pedagogy as well as perform through college and graduated with a BA in Dance in 2007. Stephanie has continued to instruct, choreograph and share her passion for dance through teaching for many dance schools in Southern New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts. Stephanie brings her passion for artistry and technique to Unbound Dance Academy.

Kara Warnock - Director of Operations
Acrobatics, Tap & Jazz
Miss Kara was involved in dance for 10 years from 1993-2003. She studied styles including jazz and hip hop while focusing mainly on tap. From dance, Kara took interest in gymnastics and eventually began cheerleading competitively. She furthered her love for tumbling by becoming a tumbling instructor at an all-star cheerleading facility in the Nashua area in 2006. Kara earned her dual degree in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education at Granite State College. Over the past 9 years, Miss Kara has grown the acrobatics and tap programs to a point that we are constantly expanding! We now offer multiple levels of acrobatics and tap as well as competition options for both. Kara has a passion for working with children and is looking forward to bringing her fun and outgoing personality along with her unique skill sets to the Unbound community!
