ALL CLASSES: Dancers must remove all jewelry and watches before the start of classes with the exception of those with a medical exemption. Stud earrings and small hoop earrings are allowed as long as they are not a distraction or safety issue.

 

Ballet and Pointe - All levels: solid colored leotard, pink tights, ballet skirt (optional), pink ballet shoes. Black ballet shoes for boys. Hair must be secured back in a bun with bobby pins and hairnet. Level 1 ballet classes and up must wear a split-sole ballet shoe. 

 

Parent and Tot / PDI / PDII / Hip Hop l: Solid colored leotard (can have attached skirt), pink, tan or black tights, pink single sole ballet shoes, tan tap shoes (if applicable - barefoot for hip hop). Hair tied back away from face.

 

Jazz & Musical Theater - All levels: solid colored leotard, tan, pink or black tights, fitted black shorts or fitted black pants (optional) and tan jazz shoes. Hair must be secured back in a ponytail or bun.

 

Tap - All levels: solid colored leotard, tan, pink or black tights, fitted black shorts or black jazz pants (optional). Tan tap shoes for tap levels l-lV. Black tap shoes for levels V and up as well as boys in all classes. Hair must be secured back in a ponytail or bun.

 

Modern & Contemporary - All levels: solid colored leotard, tan, pink or black tights, fitted black shorts or fitted black pants (optional). No shoes required, dance socks allowed. Hair must be secured back in a ponytail or bun.

 

Lyrical - All levels: solid colored leotard, tan, pink or black tights, fitted black shorts (optional). Lyrical pirouettes or dance socks are desired footwear. Hair must be secured back in a ponytail or bun.

 

Boys Attire: White t-shirt and black shorts or black pants - see instructor for footwear.

 

Hip Hop - All levels: comfortable clothes (no jeans). Silver hip hop sneakers (purchase through Unbound Dance Academy). Hair tied back away from face.

 

Acro - All levels: solid colored leotard, tan, pink or black tights, fitted black shorts (optional). Hair must be secured back in a ponytail or bun. No shoes.

 

Class Assistants: All class assistants must follow the same dress code for the class(es) they will be assisting in. This includes hair and all footwear. No extra articles of clothing (i.e. t-shirts over leotards) will be worn during the class assisting.
